Well now, my dear readers. It's 2009, we're in America, Home of the Brave, Land of Opportunity, and where democrats continue to impress me with their manner of handling race. Since slavery was forcefully ended back in 1863 (over the objections of the democrats), the dems have always been clumsy in this still-touchy subject. So, Illinois' junior senator-designate, Roland Burris, will be allowed to sit among the other 96, 97, whatever, other senators. Sen. Harry Reid and Dick Durbin have egg on their faces and senator Feinstein (white lady) shows adult skills (this time). So, as this is my first post of 2009, I have only one concern from the dems in their new-found recognition of constitutional law intelligence (read: Marbury v. Madison):
Senator Burris: You may sit in the senate chamber with the rest of us...but, you cannot use the bathroom or drink from water fountain!
